Finally, opening myself up to the Lillies. Started with this one. This is magnificent.

Ok I admit that by track 16 I was exhausted of Jacques falsetto, but love that cabaret feeling in their music.

They do take their sound in new directions after this - fast forward to 'Either Or' and it's incredibly different

I wanna go as chronological as I can with the lillies, maybe an album a day if time allows. I wanna be witness of the true evolution of these legends.

Little warning, the next two are very patchy so you could just jump straight to the 'Brothel'
It only came out two years later so you're not missing too much evolution doing that

I might listen to this, if only for your completely accurate slating of Slough.
P.S. I thought these guys would have more ratings, didn't realise they were so obscure, although maybe that's just because I've heard them mentioned before joining this place.
