Baying of the Hounds is in my top 5 Opeth songs in general

AKA - the first album where Opeth added a keyboard player to the band. And Peter Lindgren's final record. Seems that Peter had the good idea that Opeth's best days were behind them. This record marks the beginning of the end of my own Opeth fandom.

Still havent heard this. Blackwater park has always been hugely disappointing for me so i havent jammed a ton of opeth but im hoping ill like this more - so i can be cool and have some high rated opeths and finally fit in around here

Yeah kayo dot is one of those bands for me too lol. I enjoy Choirs of the Eye quite a bit but its not the holy grail of musical innovation even if half of sputnik seems to think so!
