I have this running list of random lyrics I think of in my phone's notes, so whenever I'm writing a song and need a line I can browse those. Most of these songs are kinda like if you recorded a great instrumental and just read all of those lyrics one after another without much if any connection

my hypothesis would be that Pitchfork's M.O. is integrating a news element into their reviews, which I really dislike as a critical lens, so to not mention the kerfuffle would have gone against their ethos but idk
