Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I haven't jammed much power metal in a while, but I was rockin out to this in the shower this morning and it was definitely enjoyable.

I feel like the vocals are the most divisive thing about this band. They're definitely a bit odd, but I find them kinda charming. Lots of people on Nuclear Blast's YouTube seem to disagree.

lol, Nuclear Blast was THE metal label in the 90's. In Flames, Dissection, Meshuggah, etc. were all signed to Nuclear Blast. I'm out of the loop nowadays, but along with Century Media and a handful on Earache, they put out almost every single classic European metal album back then.

Damn, I can relate with Dungeon. It was all about Nuclear Blast, Century Media, Peaceville, Roadrunner maybe...

Just looked at the Nuclear Blast lineup, and damn, you guys are right. Very few big players in the modern scene, and those that are well-know are generally legacy acts.

Depends on your tolerance for power metal and uber high-pitched vocals.

For some reason this album cover makes me think of Iron Maiden every time I see it.

It does look a bit Eddie-esque

It reminds me of Edguy - Hellfire Club, also similar band name fonts.

I really don't like the artwork

As for the Iron Maiden comparison, I don't get much from this band that Maiden hasn't already done. Eh well if you like Maiden a lot maybe there's something here for ya.

My main gripe are the vocals. Instrumentally, solid, no complaints.

But those vocals are not really giving me a good vibe, especially the very high notes.

Sounds like Tobias Sammet on helium.

I can definitely understand qualms with the vocals, but I find them kind of endearing.

The Maiden and Helloween mix up is interesting but like some people said, idk, smth is missing.

Good review though Ebola, pos!
