dude, trust me, I've tried to break down piece by piece the solos on "In Your Park". They sound simple but they're not. I never managed to fully figure them out, hahaha

Ya but the vast majority of people who have heard this album had the copy with the band photo on it. Unless you were living in Germany at the time of its release. Great album, had it on cassette growing up. Never was aware of the real cover until I became a record collector

What's wrong with an erotically posed 10-year old girl? lol Yeah, was never too sure what they were thinking there, but it doesn't really bother me as much as it did others. A lot of people overreact towards nudity. Albeit in this this context I can understand why. Blind Faith's album had a very similar controversy.
The version I had is a scorpion attached to a woman's buttocks lol.. On a side note Scorpions are/were one of my favorite groups of this era. They kicked ass and have a handful of great albums. I think Taken By Force is my favorite record

yeah, I get you, the cover doesn't get that much to my nerves either, but I think its polemic is due to the context
With Blind Faith you get a nude girl, here you get a nude girl with a "cracked vagina" and the words "Virgin Killer" next to her. So the sexual part is obvious and it doesn't seem just like simple nudity

I agree, that's exactly the context I mean; which may be a bit much for folks. I think we all understand the meaning behind the album's name regardless. I don't think they are implying they are rapists or anything like that. Honestly, them and their record company probably wanted the attention from it. Hell, this woman is at least my age now wonder what she would say about it.
