i've never made an account there or tried interacting with it, it'd be like banging my head against a wall

also i didn't get banned from media snobs, i got fired for swearing too much in the private group (by too much, i mean at all. another guy got fired for saying "cunt" in a post, because hummel and co. were ginormous wankers)

in fact if you ever have a job in which josh hummel is in charge of you in any capacity just QUIT, dude is a massive and condescending control freak who touts "positivity" whilst aiming to put you the fuck down at every turn

i remember him going off the rails just ballasting three of the writers about their opinions on something and just being an absolute cock warrior about how he was right and they were stupid and shit like that but went on to fire a guy for calling me a cunt in a joke post (we're both australian so we had this funny back and forth thing where we insulted only each other as a joke)

then when i called him out on his behaviour he never replied and i was fired a week later

Brandon went up a rank and had to cease all contact with international people or something so they took down his website

The writers all aside from Hummel and a couple others started a new site and re-hired me as an editor a few weeks later

Went onto DMU for the first time recently to see their thoughts on Bolzer after I posted a review on another site and while I didn't enjoy the album as much as I would have hoped, their articles and community responses were just atrocious.

Got to agree on the album cover: it looks horrible on the net, but when you have the digipack in hands it does look pretty cool (and so does the booklet).



Anyway, great album. Not quite what I was expecting but that's ok, Bölzer isn't supposed to give me what I'm expecting. I'm not quite sure about the singing, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.



Not quite sure if it's a 4 or a 4.5 yet.
