Excellent review! I absolutely love how McLaughlin has changed his sound over the years with this album being his best!

I don't really care for this album that much. It goes through some unique phases but the synthesized effects just seem way too overdone.

proly his most focused of his energetic jazz oriented works

that compositions are all demanding but his playing with the synth open up the mind to the future, and that alone can help imagine what the nihtin sawhney, kale collab type thing would be like, i still hope he words on something like this

with a dub sound dubstep, dub dub, southasian underground dub goa blah hoo haa would be very cool, and a sound i hope to explore eventually

Really interesting record.

I still think his best work was with Shakti- even more so than with M.O.
