Thanks dude. I haven't seen you on here much lately, how have things been?

Yeah, part of the challenge of reviewing this was how middling the album was. It's so easy to let the writing flow when reviewing an amazing or terrible record, but something around the 2.5-3 range is so hard to balance out sometimes

Things are going well, thanks.

Even when I like it, this album was a disappointment in many levels. I was always afraid she would struggle with her follow-up, still I had hope she could come up with her breakthrough work. She has potential, but maybe she is one of those artists who shine better working for others.

I can totally understand where you're coming from. Even though I liked the album enough, it's so much more generic than the debut. And when Wiz Khalifa has a guest verse on the first song, it's not exactly a good sign... especially considering his awful guest verse on that Maroon 5 song Payphone as well. *shudder* I can't stand that guy, lol

You guys might like the album. As long as you distance it from the debut and see it as its own entity, I'd say it's more enjoyable that way

i heard Cool Girl on the radio a few times and its cool but the chorus really brings it down

I can see that. It gets quite repetitive and doesn't exactly feel like a strong climax to compliment the verses. Cool Girl certainly isn't one of my favorites here

I like it. Kinda. I think. But I definitely do.

The complete first half are my favourite songs, the second half I kinda don't care for.

if the only argument for a pop song/album is "well, its FUN" or acknowledging that guilty pleasures exist, then you really shouldnt be wasting your time with it.

She's got this little movie thing out and the end is literally just her masturbating in bed while the credits roll

what must her parents think

shes also known to constantly flash her tits out at concerts.

80% sure its the only reason people go to a Tove Lo show in the first place.
