"Popestar does unfortunately signal an impending end to what might be Ghost's most intriguing era so far- Tobias Forge's performance as Papa Emeritus III has brought a new energy and sense of inspiration to the band"

All hail Papa Emeritus IV (which will also be Forge, who was also Papa the first and 2nd).

Honestly I see no point in stating Forge as Emeritus unless Ghost announces that that rumor is true. Despite some coincidences and an ear similarity, there is always a chance you could be wrong in your assumption. I just find speculation stated as fact a bit annoying.

I've never heard of this Tobias Forge character. His name is Papa.

t/t is great but i'm not sold on the covers, but then, i've never had any investment in the tracks they covered

Square Hammer gets played numerous times a day but the rest...eh. I appreciate their wide range of taste though.

Square Hammer, Bible and Missionary Man are all really good imo, the other two are pretty average.

i fear the context of the covers is lost on me due to not hearing the originals, but 'bible' is the only cover track here i enjoyed listening to

Thought Nocturnal Me was the most interesting. To each their own.

perhaps i owe the original a listen so i have the precursor of context, but tbh i think i'll be far too tempted to jam square hammer again [:

Yeah will be seeing them this saturday so i'll probably be jamming this all week.

Also can anyone think of any modern bands that release EP's to extend touring cycles?

Oh come on noctus, does this look like a place for shameless self promotion? I thought that's what lists are for!
I do agree with getting rid of Tobias' name since it has never been confirmed
