Early Styx was definitely more prog but nothing really remarkable

I just heard ''Movement for the Common Man'' and it didn't impress me at all. It's supposed to be the best track here, so I give up listening to the rest.
Equinox was great. The Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight were not bad at all either.

Gotta say I'm not the biggest Styx fan either. I do like some stuff but just like Kansas -which I also don't mind- I feel these "more-than-just-pop-rock" bands often lack in memorability and taste for details, and so pale in front of a certain more self-aware AOR band that I keep worshipping here :D

that was every single 70s prog rock band transitioning into the 80s tbh.

Honestly the album teaser they posted a couple months ago made me curious but the full version of With This Heart is kinda harmless, especially the vocals. I will check it out for sure though
