Maybe, but that was mainly because everyone lost their shit after Christian left Scar Symmetry and needed a way to vent and cope

well scar symmetry's last album was good again so those people don't give a shit about this band anymore

Pleasantly surprised by this. I've never really liked anything Solution .45 has put out, despite being a huge sucker for Alvestam.

They don't do anything groundbreaking, but there's still very solid and enjoyable tracks.

Nice review, probably would have skipped over this if I didn't come across it.

Definitely, better than part 1. What turns the wheels is fantastic

Much better than Part 1. I'm impressed.

Still not as good as their debut though.

Not a single boring moment on this album, night and day compared to part 1

I don't think we will ever get another PBP or HU out of Alvestam but this is good too

Very disappointing.

For Aeons Past blew both of these albums away

Only good song is "Inescapable Dream"

Band is only good when they are very catchy

Hopefully their next record is soak-able

Out of the two this one is definitely more catchy imo, but yes both quite forgettable as time goes by.

Band has grown off me over the years. I wish Christian would churn out something as good as Holographic Universe again.

I heard of Svavelvinter and have been following them on Facebook, but I never really noticed their debut album dropping since most of Christian's releases these last few years have been so lackluster. Needless to say I started listening after you suggested it and holy crap does it sound incredible. His best work in a VERY long time.

PBP > HU [2]

But what we really need is new Torchbearer. Now that project fucking rules

Way too much stuff thrown out on these two parts but on the other hand it's a good thing, I picked up the best from both and got a really great album.

Jamming solution today for memories sake... solid album overall still but I agree with Meat, could have condensed the two albums into one great album...
