I listened to "Why You Never Became A Dancer" and I'm not going to listen to the rest of this album.

I believe that art is art and all art is valid as said piece of art. However, that does not mean that I have to give my time to art that I think is incredibly uncool. I'm not going to claim that I know everything about the situation this song talks about, but my personal opinion is that this whole thing is disgusting. The lyrical content is very fucked up and the story behind it leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. Not to mention I wasn't impressed by the power electronic sound either. This is just loud and offensive, with a splash of what I feel is straight up misogyny. Art that screams in a rape victim's face is art that I want no part of, so I'm going to skip this album because it already puts me in a bad mood off of the concepts alone. Fuck this noise, and honestly if you're able to listen to this shit and enjoy it I honestly don't know what to tell you.

I realize that since this is a hipster copypasta there will probably be other projects I'm inclined to skip. I'll try to hold off on doing this too often but I swear to god some people give artists too much room to do whatever messed up stuff they want.
