wheres that frenetic guitar like river below or pins and needles?

but yeah bloc been awhile since we heard something pissed like burn the evidence

They put all their remaining anger (and sadness) into BTIII. The trilogy has a lot of stuff that's really not happy sounding, and that's what I dig the most.

This is safe, but enjoyable. Their first two will always be the best.

I thought that Dead Silence was pretty good, actually, but I'm less inclined to check this out.

Dead Silence is the 3rd best.

So Ghost Ship of Cannibal Rats, and the last few tracks were the standouts for me after an initial listen. Louder Than the DJ is an abomination not fit for this earth.

There are moments of promise scattered throughout, but I mainly just want to go listen to my favorites from II again. 2.7/5

They did have that one surprisingly sick new song on their greatest hits, Kingdom of Zod. That track rips, yet it was just 2 years ago

Dead Silence has some really great cuts but as a whole is easily their worst for me. Worse than this too. Actually, I'm pleasantly surprised by this new album (haven't finished it all yet). Louder Than the DJ is like their worst song ever but the rest is pretty nice!

Kingdom of Zod rips [2]

Why is any rock song that has the word "DJ" in it the worst thing ever? Anyone ever notice that

I liked Dead Silence the few times I listened to it but I never find myself coming back to it.

I & II have a lot of nostalgic value to me so I don't know that I could ever enjoy anything they put out as much as those

louder than the dj>kill the dj tho

both are among their worst, but kill the dj is way worse

i like this album. its nothing outstanding or anything, but its enjoyable. dead silence and 1 and 2 blow this out of the water, but its better than 3. its nothing special but its enjoyable and has some jams

Kill the dj is one of the worst songs I've ever heard excluding shit from bands like brokencyde and dot dot curve

"I think they're not angry anymore. Maybe the singer found love."

This could actually be the case. Lead singer Ben Kowalewicz got married 5 years ago (I believe) which would explain why the last 2 albums (Afraid of Heights and Dead Silence to a lesser extent) have a lot less edge to them.
