Actually the riff on 'Are You Coming With Me' is quite similar to Asking Alexandrias 'The Black', the latter one only missing the short linking notes.

I wouldn't consider many metalcore bands up there with Misery signals, Converge, Dillinger, Of Virtue and Northlane. I will check this out eventually.

After listening to this more I just don't understand how people can prefer their older stuff. I mean their first two albums are just juvenile and childish amateur hour compared to this, and I really like those albums as well.

Don't really enjoy the album, but Hologram has the most infectious chorus I've heard in awhile.

Hologram is a jam, but this is still disappointing as hell.

It would've been more disappointing for them to make another risecore concept album tbh, despite the fact that I loved their first two albums it was time to move on. This has only grown on me as time has passed as well, my review of it is only a 4.

just started listening and this sounds like a worse version of the new Too Close to Touch album in my opinion. The review was good though!

"Crown the Empire return and produce the best metalcore record of the last decade plus."

This isn't really even metalcore, and even if it was it wouldn't be even close to being the best.

I never listened to their other albums, only knew they are some sceneband. Still that probably helped me to get into this unbiased unlike some others who dislike this may be.

I mean I still prefer The Resistance over this, it has tons of variation and ambition for how young they were at the time, but The Fallout is 11 songs of pure risecore and it baffles me how people think its their best album.

The Fallout is a strong 3.5, nothing new but definitely their most fun album. Resistance is easily their best tho, and this is just boring to me

Hologram is about the only thing I ever revisit on this, I always find myself going back to this band's sophomore album whenever I want to listen to them.
