Yeah space rock is far more prog than this. This is more like Thirty Seconds to Mars' debut which is basically alt rock about space.

Space rock is just rock with synths...this is rock with synths. Thirty Seconds to Mars' debut IS space rock, heavy use of synths, and it wasn't about space, it was about the human condition, aluuding to it by using astronomical themes.
