some of the drumming was nice, and the little electronic bibbidyboobaps worked a lot better than I expected, but yeah nah, it all felt too restrained and content riding in 3rd gear for my liking.
it'd make for swee background music, but as a listening experience it's kinda just ehhhhh

it coulda been a bit more wild i guess, but maybe he wanted to keep that casual impromptu-y feeling going? i def don't disagree but my experience was more positive. i have enough free jazz in my library - it's nice to have something chill that still keeps me engaged
