I have to agree. BTBAM are just getting more and more cringe worthy as they go...

Gave it a chance because of the great review but didn't do much for me. Have to admit that I've only jammed it once though and alt rock isn't even remotely my thing, so my opinion probably means nothing.

i mean i totally get it if anyone isnt a fan of this but that 1 is a 100% troll/rage 1. And by a contrib no less. The vocals are bad therefore the ENTIRE album and all its other qualities are total shit and should be tossed aside like the last BOTDF album. Makes sense.

I think the lyrics on "Jaws On Repeat" are funny because they seem to be mocking quasi-intellectual stoners who talk about space and time when I thought that's what their last album was. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but I feel like I didn't like the lyrics on the last album for that reason.

The last album was more about wierd shit and total nonsense (but was self aware). Megaloblastic madness for example is about a doctor who wasnt really a doctor working on a female patient with some wacky disease or something.

I could be thinking of BTBAM or something, but yeah, this ranges from super cornball to awesome. The piano on this definitely stands out. Some of it actually made me go "wow", but then some of the lyrics and vocals made me groan. His vocals fit Fear Before The March of Flames really well, though. The Always Open Mouth is still one of my favorite albums.

Yeah, the only song I can remember off the top of my head is the one where he says "Oh my science". I remember liking that album overall, but I didn't stick with me.

Gonna check this out. Their last album was pretty awesome. Fisher is a damn good musician(along with all of the members in the different projects Fisher is/was a member of).

Orbs does it again. Admittedly if you're not familiar with these guys, it will take some warming up to. That said, after the years of waiting, this album makes me feel as weird as anything I've ever listened to.. and I LOVE it. Nobody can write lyrics that make you feel as strange as we all actually are like Adam Fisher can. Add some progressive metal with an innate Pink Floydian influence, and you've got Past Life Regression. This tops Asleep Next to Science for me. The music alone is worth the buy, but the feels? Priceless.
