Q is a bit of a flow master in my opinion, especially on Oxymoron.

This is an okay review, but some of the things you said just kind of make me wonder.
"over the menace that can put him well ahead of Kendrick and the Black Hippy crew."
honestly dude, you could take the best line/verse/song that Q has ever done and it still might not equate to him even being the 3rd best rapper in TDE, with respect to Zay and Kendrick.
"misplaced spots from E-40 and Kanye West serve the record poorly outside of marketing purposes"
While I agree that E-40 was terribly misplaced on Dope Dealer, Kanye was perfectly put into his element on the wacky and zany THat Part. That was probably the funniest Kanye verse I've heard in awhile, which fits perfectly with the goofy side of Q that the song was going for.
Also no mention of the the horrible "Studio" remake, "Overtime," which the company forced him to put on the record. Should have been a bonus track or just a radio release. Instead in ends up on the back of the album awkwardly beside the best track on the tape.

The only thing keeping me from 5ing this is that some of the features on here are straight garbage.

Overtime was a bit misplaced, but is a great song in my opinion. It is so much better than studio.

@DoctorDoom, if you're asking me, the only song I don't particularly care for is Big Body. I also don't like how Kanye overstays his welcome a bit in That Part. Other than that, nothing.

@doom the features on Tookie Knows were bad. E-40s verse was terribly out of place. Not liking the Doggpound feature either.

Also, Traffic and TF kill it on Tookie Knows. They are great features in my opinion. And it's authentic because they're his actual friends.

@futures I hate Studio. Haha. It's an abomination of a track to me. It's the worst song off of Oxymoron beside Hell of a Night.

Oxymoron was a step in the right direction for Q, but lacked the wholesomeness that this album has. That's just me. I felt like he could have trimmed some of the fat like Studio, and Hell of a Night (When that beginning hits, I die inside).
