I feel I should mention I have all 93 of the UK series and have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the vast majority.
It's a curse more than a blessing.

@Mercury. That's insane, but extremely impressive. What's possessed you to get all of them? Which is your favorite?

My sister used to get them on cassette, and I kinda took the lead from her - just kinda grew from there. Of course the majority of them these days are pretty underwhelming, but for a nostalgia trip they are perfect.
Also, favourite has to be Now 29, containing such gems as:
Sophie B Hawkins - Right Beside You
New Order - True Faith
Oasis - Cigarettes + Alcohol
The Cranberries - Zombie
Crash Test Dummies - Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
Blur - Parklife

Incredible collection. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Now_That%27s_What_I_Call_Music!_29_(UK_series)

Legit collection of songs. Right at the height of Britpop. Doesn't get much better than that. Are you still buying the physical CDs?

I can't say I am - being 2 years away from the 100th gives me way more excitement than it should, however.

cool that you reviewed this. ashamed to admit that from like 9 to 20 i bought every one of these starting when i was like.. probably 8 or 9 i guess? all i did was listen to the radio and these CDs are basically the radio without commercials so. had no idea Karma Police was on here, that's fuckin priceless

do the UK and US versions have the same tracklists? my sister buys all of the newer ones (i think she started at 60-something) and usually they'll be maybe 3 or 4 decent house tracks, like 3 alright pop songs and the rest of the 40 tracks will be garbage

the US versions are focused more on the top 40 hits from our billboard 100.
