Some tracks I'd recommend: teenage riot, 01/15/96, hey kid, san dimas, fast times at drop-out high, in this diary, and up, up, down, down, left, right, B, A, start

Never liked the Ataris stuff I heard before because the vocals had too much of that saccharine pop punk quality (I only heard a song or two off their older albums), but the singer's voice sounds really, really good on this. He's got a lo-fi grunge/alt rock thing going here that's working for the music.
"Slacker Rock" would fit in on the Mallrats soundtrack, and I mean that in the best way possible. This might be the first Ataris record I buy.
