So good.
I think this is not only overlooked because of its experimental and oblique qualities, but (as an experience) perhaps because of the deep plunge into minimal-structure tracks after the volatile and accessible lead single. Songs like Catherine are gems, though; the impressionist textures and lyrics on this album just OOZE of mood. I have a similar affection to Teclo on her previous effort. That cowbell coupled with feedback, mmm.

PJ Harvey in general just impresses me honestly, even on her worst albums there's always at least a few mindblowing songs.
And this is one of her best.
