Singles from this were so insanely boring I can't even pretend to be interested in this, and that bullshit circular album title doesn't help. Shame.

Looked over the review real quick and it seems decent, no major problems that I could spot (Although the last sentence from your first paragraph should be integrated somewhere in the last paragraph or eliminated completely), so good job

Yes, this could have been so much better. I feel like they played it too safe on this and wrote a bunch of pop songs with little to hold the listener's attention. not giving up on this quite yet, but it is really disappointing so far.

the singles are all pretty much the weakest songs on this Gwyn. Would easily take it over M/M

Black Honey ruled, I'm excited to hear this. Solid review too, pos.

from what I heard so far this is actually not bad. A bit generic, but very decently executed nonetheless.

just being extra harsh, because Thrice. expected so much more.

Really wish Seneca was a 6/7 minute instrumental because there's so much that could be expanded on in the middle of the album I think. That being said Salt and Shadow is a wonderful closer highlighting the sheer beauty of the range in Dustin's vocals.

Potentially a little safe on the whole but it's a great album to launch the post hiatus career. The earth may not shake but there's no need to rush the artist to the ambulance

Thrice are becoming a band that are never going to be able to meet up to the expectations of everyone anymore.

not that strange considering the richness of their discog either. still, this was a bit bland for them and I know they are capable of so much more.

borin' ass album. dustin's vocals are great though and there's the odd track that breaks the malaise

I'm sure this will be masterful. I've yet to hear a Thrice album that I didn't immediately enjoy and then return to for years to come.

The last song is fantastic

juggling between a 3.5 and a 4 for this but I have to admit there are a few unimpressive moments

Well even Beggars had a couple unimpressive stretches. But there's a difference between unimpressive and boring, hopefully it's just the former.

@Sowing more or less (then again I think Beggars is their worst album)

this is just good enough to get them back on the road. Not amazing but there's nothing really bad aside from Seneca
