I have their S/T at a 4.5, and Meir at a 4 (probably closer to 3.5). I listened to this album 6 times, and I legitimately hate it. I got a bit of enjoyment out of Heksebrann, but it's like 6 minutes too long and still bores me to death.

This is clicking hard now. Some of the guitar work here sounds triumphant as fuck. Also love how they incorporated additional vocals, Hjelvik still murders, it just enables them pursue new styles. Even the corny moments, like the the "HEY", "HUH" & "HOO"s in Bronsegud that made me lol at first really add to the catchiness, and overall energy of the song. Terminal Redux and this within the span of week. Fuck.

Its aight. Some songs are pretty catchy and others are just okay. Overall as the OP said, its a fun listen.

Some of the high notes on the guitars on here sound weird, some tracks are super forgettable (1985, Svartmesse, Ondskapens Galakse). This album generally has a weird sound.

I wish they'd kept Ballou as their producer. Hope they don't morph into some super lame mid-paced sem-acoustic "black rock band".

Ok this album actually slays really, really fucking hard. After I heard the first single I wasn't expecting shit, but this might actually be their best tbh.
