A bit much with the references to water in the review but thats just a personal nitpick. Other than that you absolutely hit the nail on the head with this one. Those who love Radiohead are gonna have a ball with this and hail it as a new fan favorite while it'll be off the minds of most listeners in a couple of weeks or months. Despite that, the record is still pretty solid.

only made a couple references in the closing para (unless there's more I somehow didn't notice, idk). I'll think of something to swap those out with in case they're sorta lame

Nah the only references to that were in the final paragraph, you're right. Just the consecutive allusions to water in the closing paragraph made it seem to be more frequent than in reality.

honestly i dont see myself coming back to most of these save for daydreaming, decks dark, ful stop, identikit, present tense, and of course The Ballad of Yeatman (Go Die in a Fire Cunt)

Radiohead have always loved their ambient sound effects but tbh the way they are used here elevates every track. I'm still not loving the first two tracks but even still there's too much great stuff happening here to be a 3.5

@Candle. I dunno, five listens through and I still am having issues remembering this record. Even radiohead songs I havent heard in years I can still vividly remember. This album save for the tracks I listed feel like supe pretty noise without much substance backing it up.
