I just read the review, but my exact thoughts 2 songs in were "this feels like the first time I listened to Rust in Peace"... and also, I've never heard anything like this before... they hinted at this in the previous albums, but this is just beyond that...



I love how people wanna 3 this just bc it's "hyped"....

It is brand new, that's why I said "probably". And it probably is hyperbole, but end me if this isn't remarkable. Sure, it has to age before I or anyone is allowed to drop the words "modern classic", "timeless piece" or "one of the best albums ever made", but damn... this is absolutely stunning. Transcendent stuff. I'm in utter and complete awe.
