perhaps because of tim darcy's solo effort? however I talked to them last summer though (it was the keyboardist and tim) and the keyboardist seemed pretty genuinely excited about the prospect of a new record. I feel like they will drop one either this year or next or not at all.

yeah that might've affected the flow of things with Ought.. and that's great to hear! because i had one particularly intense time with this album that just left me feeling.. like not only how could they top this, but how could they even follow it? i realize it's just speculation but for some reason i felt it very strongly idk. if they do i'll be stoked to hear what it sounds like obvs
