Very unimpressed by this album. This falls short of The Flesh Prevails hard. Also a lot less energetic than The Harvest Wombs, which totally rips.

Edited. Hopefully this is more concise.

I'm with you about Les Silences. It does go on for a bit too long.

That, and the speaker is barely audible over the music for most of the track.

this is probably better than the flesh prevails by default because it has production you can listen to for more than 5 minutes

sadly, the production is probably the only thing that's better here than on TFP

this isn't that great. they lean too much on those type of riffs that are almost djenty. and their atmospherics all sound the same after track 3. actually everything starts to sound the same really quick because it is the same. its formulaic. no good riffs here either. on paper the idea of this band sounds good but its not my thing. it all comes out a bit immature a bit metalcore ish too

I recieved my pre order on Tuesday and been listening since. I would've given it a 3.5 as the album is monotonous at first but it is definitely a grower and it is Fallujah's most varied and strongest release so far, although i do Alex's highs from The Harvest Wombs.

This is good. But it sounds like what The Flesh Prevails would've sounded like except they changed the song titles and actually made the songs listenable.

There's a torrent of The Flesh Prevails floating around that's just a rip of the vinyl in .flac form. The vinyl version had a different production and is allegedly slightly more dynamic. I tried it out last night and it does appear to have a slightly less brickwalled production!
