Thanks, Toon. Can you elaborate on the problems?

sure thing
first, album titles are in italics. (you don't technically have to do this, it's just a pet peeve of mine)
"And even after the unfortunate tragedy that put the original bassist Chi Cheng in a coma (and later claimed his life),"
You make it sound like Cheng committed suicide, which is not what happened btw (he died of cardiac arrest).
the spacing in paragraphs 3 and 4 need to be fixed
you also spend too much time comparing this to their previous albums, you're trying to sells us this album. There's nothing wrong with comparing/contrasting with their other records or other bands in general, but you need to be careful on what the review is focusing on.
conclusion needs to be more than just one sentence. doing so doesn't really do anything in justifying the rest of the review. keep in mind that most of the time you have to restate your arguments in your concluding paragraph rather than just saying "yeah it's pretty good"
that's just a few things, but they're easy fixes if you ask me

also, I really hate that summary (more or less a nitpick though)

Do I? I was reffering to the tragedy. The one that a) put him in a coma and b) later claimed his life.

just an extra gripe, but what is "Doomed Lover" lol.
also instead of saying "and claimed his life" you could say "that claimed his life" to show they're related i guess.

yeah I know what you were trying to go for but the way it's worded makes it sound like he killed himself. I'd just reword that to something like "even after the tragic death of original bassist Chi Cheng" or something similar. Again it's an easy fix.

speaking of which, now that this is released, I guess the hype for Eros can finally begin.

Yeah, I might do that. Thanks. It is a second language, after all.

As for your other comments, thank you, duly noted but I think I'll let it hang unchanged as a reminder.

I'm not sure how I feel about the album yet. I like it but less than any other tones album. Hoping it will grow on me.
Little fun fact :
(L)Mirl is short for Let's meet in real life.

Huge step back from KNY. Dunno if I'm listening to Deftones or Tool on this

The stretch of (L)MIRL, t/t and PB is the best part of the album on first listen.

Great review, can't wait to check this out tonight. Response seems divided, with some sources absolutely loving it and some claiming it's their worst album to date.
|
| |
It's no way their worst. I'm digging it, it's their best for quite some while.

Just listened through for the first time and I'm pretty eh. As people have said, Deftones usually takes a few listens to rate properly though.

Even if I eventually start loving this album, SNW still stomps it.
