100% wonder years episodes and totally omitting any sort of comment on the fundamental also totally omitting any sort of musical development because really... life isn't about development but just maintaining yourself through a series of distractions, and all those distractions are ultimately the same distraction

I really dig this, the hooks just aren't here compared to their past material which isn't a fault of theirs considering they've written some of the most iconic rock songs of the past few decades. On it's own it's more than a solid record, just not on the same platform has their genre defining past records.
