It's about 2.0 lower in rating than All of a Sudden.

All Of The Sudden is awesome, it's their second best for me, but this doesn't top that.

It's enjoyable Post Rock, some interesting riffs and moments, nothing that jumps out and grabs me but it was a relaxing album to listen to at work.

man I wish I was more into post-rock tbh. Sigur Ros's () is really the only album I love from the genre

That album is post rock at it's very best, so it's okay you only love that one xD the genre is an acquired taste anyway.

I'd recommend This Will Destroy You - Young Mountain and Explosions in the Sky - The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place; both are very accessible and a good starting point.

The drum sound on Tangible Dreams and Disintegration annoys me to no end.

Great review dude. I've pretty much loved everything this band has done, except the two albums with 3.3 averages which I haven't jammed yet. I really think this could've been a masterpiece as good as The Earth Is Not..., but like you said, there's too many unfocused moments on here without enough catharsis.

"The problem happens to be how unfocused in nature everything is. The band insisted on constantly shifting gears from track to track. It can go from creepy to downright soothing even in the same track and that’s only one track."

the exact reason I liked this album

That's part of how they changed their sound for this, more often than not it works in this album's favor actually.

Yea it all works but it still manages to feel disjointed nonetheless despite awesome songs like Logic Of A Dream.

I still think this is fantastic with some of their best songs, but yeah some parts could be better.
