Great review. This album took me by surprise. I was lukewarm on the singles.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys! I have no idea how to italicize with the editor but I'll figure it out.

Alright, I fixed the italicization. Had no idea it was HTML. Thanks again, everybody!

Reminds me of a less metal "Elementary" by The End. Very cool; quite ominous sounding. Not sure I'd be listening to this frequently but when the description of the album tells you to "... turn off the lights and imagine the universe thundering and swirling above you and all around. You might also want to close your eyes," I'm quite intrigued.

Ohhh that's a great comparison, actually. Kind of the moodier tracks from Elementary without the math/grind ones. Definitely makes me think of The Moth and I.

Yeah it definitely brought to mind that track, along with the Never Ever Aftermath.

Just pick up a copy next chance you have to see them live- and if you haven't seen them live yet, I highly suggest you do. They're fucking brilliant in-person.

@ProjectFreak honestly man, the album flew by so quick it felt brief to me. It really left me wanting more, in the best way possible. Thanks for the kind words!

Absolutely love this band. Still very partial to "Garden Window", but I can feel this being a close 2nd. I'm kind of like "newsteamchannel4" in that the album flies by. That may be why I am still partial to "Garden Window" because it plays a little longer and the tension builds a little more. This is still great.

Definitely enjoyed this the 2 times I've listened to it all the way through....gonna give it a couple more spins before rating but right now it's looking like a 4-4.5

Awesome review.

Listened up to the title track and have came back to the first few songs. I loved Garden Window but what I've heard is kind of meh. I definitely plan on giving this a proper listen (in isolation, possibly outside at night because it seems like this is the kind of album for that). Really hope it clicks with me because of what all of you are saying about it.
