and yeah torts these guys are my fav metal band at the moment so ive been digging them a lot

The Death cover was really what pushed it past 2.5 territory for me too

The death cover is the only thing worth on this. The rest is bland with no song structure. Its sounds like wanky, dissonant jazz passed through a dm filter

Anyone else here find the drum work on this particularly terrible?

the improvisation stuff is a cool idea but it's not that entertaining to listen to. even the first track which was composed sounds like a glorified jam session. the lyrics for the first track are really interesting tho and that death cover rules

And OvDeath, you won't be missing out on much. Hoping these guys redeem themselves with a good LP at some point because the EPs haven't been working out for me.
