Ed my statement was not directed to you. Yes I have balls, I don't think having balls has anything to do with my problem here. The issue is that nearly everyone is either just writing off what I have to say because they've superimposed that what they think is absolute and their opinion is king-shit. Your comment is the only one that was remotely constructive or even critical past the notion of "STFU stop fanboying idiot this album isn't a 5 cause I say so." To those people: Yes your opinion differs from mine, cool. How about instead of writing some shallow ass comment, you do something productive with your time and give some feedback.



Ed you seem like an okay guy, so please try to explain to me why people need to come here just to tell me this sucks and I should feel bad. I don't feel bad. I've barely said anything outside of my opinion on the music. It's not like I wrote an incomprehensible mess that barely resembles English. What is so terrible about my opinion on music that garners such mindless stupid hatred and not constructive or critical feedback?



I don't feel upset that people are acting like pricks. I deal with it all of the time. But I come here to build my skills as a writer in the hopes of some support and feedback from peers. If I'm not going to get any of that here why should I review? The cynical bandwagon nature of this site is toxic and I don't understand why something that attempts to show some positivity is left with the consensus of: "This Sucks, delete this."

Sputnik is a cynical place and people will take dumb cheap shots at you if you give them an opening (especially if you're a new guy with 40-50 comments), if you don't like it that's fine and you are of course entitled to leave and delete this review.

However I'd encourage you to keep at it and try to ignore the stupid comments and try to develop your writing because like I said it's not like there aren't some good passages in this review. (At least I think so, I'm by no means a good reviewer myself) Maybe try to get involved more in commet sections as well and try to get into discussions with people and take the negative/stupid comments with a bucket of salt.
