If you dig the single you'll dig the record, even if it has more death parts than the single let on to. Was a nice surprise when I fully listened to it the first time.

Death metal only takes up like maybe 1/4 of the album tho
Also there were two singles and the first one was the first track, which is way more death metal

Ah ok cool thanks for correcting. I thought it was just the second track that was released as a single. I would agree it's about 1/4 death but the second track is quite strictly doom, which was all I heard before spinning the album.
In any case, really solid release, been enjoy it a lot.

Enjoyable record indeed. Maybe another listen or two and it'll grow on me even moreso. I like all sorts of doomy stuff so it was kind of up my alley.

Yea the album rules. I do kinda wish it was longer with a bit more death metal because those sections are so good. I think the conciseness works in the albums favor though.

Yep. I've been disappointed with a lot of what I've heard this year so far though tbh. I mean there's been some amazing stuff, but there's also been some meh/really bad stuff too.

Yeah man I haven't heard much from this year so far but I'd say this is probably my favorite. Really excited for the Howls record though, the EP was good and I thought the LP was actually awesome. Even better than the EP by a bit.
