I think Unimagine is a lot better than this, never liked Ground Dweller and I think I don't like this either

I'm glad I am not the only one noticing it. The band or their publisher must have a valid explanation for not being on Spotify. It does have a hidden file on Spotify.

Unimagine had a personality. Not the greatest album in the world, but it at least sounded like they put a lot of work into it.

just listened to the singles and I feel like there was more effort into the structure. The melodies weren't as solid but I can definitely tell it's an improvement. Can't really say it's much better though.

i see the band will be taking a memphis may fire route for its career. I expect the lead singer to have a solo album this year or next year

Listening now. Nowhere near as good as their first two.

Edit: after a couple of listens this is actually really good. But still nowhere the quality of the first two

I absolutely loved this album. The hooks and bass tone throughout are superb.

Going to wait till this album is on Spotify before listening to it. There's only 1 song on there at the moment which isn't enough, not even as a sampler.

I had a listen to one of the singles, Colourblind, and the thing that nags at me is in the first 30 seconds where it sounds like they've recycled some of the lyrics from Developments. It can't be like this for the whole album so i'll forgive them this time.

I loved the first two albums, but my favourite would be Ground Dweller. I like the wordy lyrics where some people weren't a fan. It just adds to the feel and they can have more wiggle room to create a fuller story.

The album won't be on Spotify. Here's what Trenton Woodley said about it: https://twitter.com/trentontws/status/702969988680843264

lol nice way to boost illegal downloads by not putting it on streaming services. I understand that spotify pays not enough because spotify sucks but they could at least put it up on other sites like Deezer and Apple Music. I'm sure more people will be deterred from listening than intrigued to buy the album if it's not available for stream.

I'd recommend you give it a shot. The singles released were basically their new style of music. You might like the other tracks that this album has to offer.

This is still so good. Stillwater and Degrees of Separation have some of the best choruses of their discography. Sucks this won't be on Spotify though, technically I bought 4 copies of this album but I use Spotify at work and can't get it there. Oh well.

Thanks for the info. I was naughty (torrent), but every bad deed does not go unpunished because I'm enjoying this.
