I've found myself coming back to this album a lot lately. The guitar tones are so unusual for this style. It sounds to me like they recorded nylon string guitars DI with pickups instead of actual microphones. Generally this seems to be frowned upon in the recording world, but paired with the over drenching reverb, it creates a really unique sound that just works so well with these songs. The subtle choral ambience just fill it all out so nicely too.

@Pho3nix, this record is great! I was really looking forward to the new one, and while I think it's pretty good, I definitely prefer this one. Curious to hear your thoughts though.
