As it's evident on my review, I really enjoyed this one. What really made me appreciate the album from the first listen was that it feels even shorter than it is. Maybe it pails in comparison with At the Heart of Winter or Sons of Northern Darkness, but me not being a longtime Immortal fan probably helps in not comparing it with those albums.

@manosg- I definitely hear where you are coming from, and I definitely see how not being an Immortal fan prior could drastically change someone's opinion of the record. I tried to not compare it to his other work, but it was inevitable considerin stylistically it was similar, just not up to par. Also, I don't think I would have liked it whether the Abbath name was attached to it or not, because this is basically everything I dislike about BM. But anyway, thank you for the compliment, I'm gla you enjoyed the read despite our differences in opinion :]
