Pretty cool album, wasn't convinced at first, but the atmosphere is pretty rad. Love the cover art too

Wow this thing just rips through the gate. Quality melodic black metal here, definitely digging the vocals too

it's been blowing up on Bandcamp lately but I'm still surprised it got a review on here so quickly. Pretty great bm as far as I can tell.

"Think members of Misþyrming and Carpe Noctem are in it"

That's awesome, Mis were great last year but Carpe Noctems '09 album is one of my favourite bm recordings. Gave this a quick play through last night and I liked what I heard but I was pretty distracted.

Austin Dickey does some horse vox and its surprisingly cool, kinda hilarious though too.

This is actually really great, been jamming it on and off today but its growing on me every time, it's interesting the difference in atmosphere with a crystal production compared to the standard lo-fi affair.

Agreed that the production is really neat on this. Gives just enough coarseness from the cymbals and it's not too muddy overall. The first three tracks are 4.5 material.

"I got a heavy Lunar Aurora vibe from this"
Might skip this one in that case. Never like LA

I don't care much for them outside of Andacht, but I'm thoroughly enjoying this.

Only LA I've heard is Andacht and this didn't remind me of that album at all

Lunar Aurora rule tho! D: Never really jammed Andacht but Elixir of Sorrow riffs pretty hard.

I love Andacht and Elixir both. Jamming this one again now, great stuff for sure.
