"A lot of songs on this album could be put into Outside and there wouldn't be much a difference."

Aside from maybe Sue, that'd hardly be the case.

Sweet album, sweet review, couple things:

as well as the ones who critique said results of the change

"critique results of said change" reads a little smoother

(from a writing standpoint at least)

Feels a little redundant in that it's obvious what you mean given you're writing a review, but it's no matter, really.

Final sentence of the first para is a bit of a run-on and could use some breaking up.

On the other hand, ”Sue” was radically altered from an orchestral seven-minute long tragic drama about the titular character, the version here is cut nearly in half, the strings stripped and industrial-like guitars take the helm amidst a frantic rhythm section that harkens back to the evocative sounds of Outside and Earthling.

Another run on, maybe just replace the comma after "character" with a full-stop.

the theme alludes to the weirder, more-wordly segments of Lodger

more "worldly"?

Just a bit over forty minutes, Blackstar as a whole isn’t a cosmic revelation...

I get what you're saying, but runtime doesn't necessarily = profundity as you seem to imply here.

That's all my nitpicks out of the way. Sweet review frip, you should apply for contrib again :D

As much as I love Bowie, I really don't give 2 shits about this. The joke's on me I guess.

Album slays. I think love for "The Next Day" was overblown, but this hits a nice concise block in my Bowie appetite.
