Just checked it out and wow it sounds awful in comparison. Are all the remasters this bad? Why even do this other than cash-grab?

Conquerer, Empyrean and Xenon all have massive mix changes, my guess is to make the first 3 albums sound more like Acheron, Progenitor and Ashes, but I don't see any point in remastering the 3 newer albums

I checked out Empyrean and man, I don't like it at all. The breakdown in Catechism sounds like ass now, and that was one of my favourite Mechina sequences ever.

The remaster of Embers has the most minuscule changes, for the most part, it sounds the same, I think the biggest change they did to all albums was adding strings to pretty much every part of every song
