Listening to this album - and especially “Skating” - as a teen taught me that “trick” (I have no better word for it, and it’s the four ascending chords after the fast, descending piano riff) of playing the root chord, playing it up a minor 3rd, up another minor 3rd, and one more minor 3rd. Sounds so advanced, but it’s not.
