Transgression is their worst by far mostly due to the production..even christian said himself his guitar sounds bad + the vocals are way too loud..no offense burton :P

there are some great moments on transgression that makes the whole record worth it... such as 'moment of impact'! that song still rates highly for me as one of their best songs.

its their fault for hiring a rock producer who likes his sound very warm...

so I'm not really into Industrial much, but I listened to Demanufacture and thought it was pretty good. Which other FF albums are worth looking into?

I suggest Digimortal... its the least popular album but its a pretty cool album which has their best production to date... that album will never sound dated.

^ I know its the weakest but with a song like Linchpin that album has more electronics and samples, i guess thats what represents FF... at least Rhys Fulber is back to do stuff with them for the next one..... MORE ELECTRONICS PLEEEEEASE!!!!

How can an album be growling? This is actually very good for a Fear Factory release, finally some good melodies.

Digimortal was dated about as soon as it came out man.
Demanufacture and Obsolete are where it's at

So I listened to this one too and I find it impossible not to give it an instant 4.5. I love Descent and the title track...and Timelessness really proves that Burton can sing. The cleans on that song are really great.
