They're both good as hell, but probably Lateralus. It was much more complex and progressive than Aenima.

Best progressive album has got to be Blackwater Park by Opeth.

seetherrocker, Schism is on Lateralus. You could have just looked at the reviews for yourself, though.
I heart 10,000 Days.

You are one in many who think this album is better than Aenima and Lateralus. Each to his own, but I think those two beat this by a mile. Blackwater Park is close too, but that's not exactly progressive, it's progressive death metal

i agree with a lot of what was said but still i think it was a little premature the album without taking aenima or lateralus into cosideration on a whole is very very good some rocking bass more influental guitar and as always daney and maynard are out there on ther own overall i'd give it 4.5 cause come on ..... its no aenima

So? Progressive death metal is also progressive. If you look that way, you can refine any progressive band. They are progressive, period.

Opeth isn't progressive DM, they're Extreme Progressive Metal. Many of their aspects on BP and other realeases were very non-DM.
