Whoa why's everyone so down on HWAP? Always enjoyed that song even if it's pretty simplistic, particularly for Tool.

"With hit's "Sober" and "Prison Sex""

Not a possessive or a contraction, maybe say "With hits like Sober and Prison Sex" instead.

"becomes,"

Tense? Probably should be "became." Actually there's a few tense discontinuities in the first paragraph.

"definitely spiritually powerful."

Probably get rid of definitely, makes the phrase clunky.

" uncanny filler tracks"

Not really the right use of the word uncanny.

" the very particular "Die Eier Von Satan" ,"

I think you meant peculiar.

"Danny's drum-work is at highest here"

At it's highest level, perhaps?

Just nit picking here because I think the content is good but the execution comes up short in places.

HWaP has pretty childish lyrics, so that's probably where the criticism comes from.

Fair enough. I like the lyrics honestly, even if they are childish, they are so relevant for Tool and how Maynard behaves towards the fans.

The lyrics aren't about progression or transcendentalism so it must suck, also the song is in 4/4 is double shit stick

yeah while the lyrics might have been driven by somewhat immature anger, they're definitely genuine and relevant to what was going on w/ the band at that time

like I've said before, there was definitely a lot of angst w/ early Tool, but it works for me because I feel it was directed intelligently and more than appropriately

Yeah I'm with you, I feel like it is effectively directed, even if HWAP makes use of a pretty juvenile metaphor.
