Yeah I would have to disagree with the reviewer about Process of a New Decline. That is probably one of my top ten albums in the genre. I mean there are so many good riffs on that album. Sure, they had some quirky riffs here and there and they kept a break-neck pace for most of it, but the overall technicality and talent on that record is pretty hard to overlook, in my opinion.

Most of the fans seem to thing it's a step down from Leading Vision. I also hate the production on it since it's all pretty trebly

I've never even heard Process of a New Decline (or anything by this band for that matter) and I can 100% guarantee it's not top 10 dm lol.

LV is one of the most accessible technical dm albums there is and that's just a bonus to how great of an album it is. I remember it being one of the first dm albums I actually liked when I started listening to the genre.

Nobody out there noticing that Process was nearly completely indistinguishable from the glut of shiny tech-death out there? I had my moment with that album, then I realized it was just not very interesting. Compared to Leading Vision, which through it's tone and composition was unique, it was just flat.

If you like this band at all give Leading Vision another try. It's one of the few tech-death albums I can hear and instantly know is not some amorphous band. I think in ten years we're still going to be talking about it and won't really care about the more recent two. Hopefully this new one is more like that.

Really digging this. I do think they're still trying a bit too hard when they should just let some of the better grooves roll but it's got way more memorable passages than the past two.

It's their most like LV since that time. Different, but in the same vein.

Plenty of soul here. So much better than Process and Absolution, they really brought back the musicality and put it up front. There's technical acrobatics for sure but mostly to support the music. Production sounds muffled in some places, but overall much more organic and dynamic than the previous 2. Also digging the drums on this one.

I'm not liking the vocals anymore. Seems that with every album they fit the music less.
