Well, I was going to write a review for this but you basically covered almost everything I was going to say. Their best since Good Apollo Vol I for sure. Island, Atlas, and You Got Spirit, Kid are fantastic. Alas, still nothing to match A Favor House Atlantic or Delirium Trigger.

This is so iffy for me. If I'm in a good mood then I love some tracks, otherwise it's a bit of a snooze fest with too many songs feeling tonally similar or just neutered.

What pisses me off are those ending sections that are just random but have cooler licks than the entire album...

I cant even say i'm glad some people are enjoying this because that just means Coheed are probably going to settle for this type of sound for future releases. I kind've want this to bomb so that maybe there's hope for a more energetic comeback.

That's taking the cynical view, Skooma. I'd like to think that this album is just Claudio "getting it out of his system" so they'll come back harder as a whole.
I don't like the chorus and the electronic bit in Here's to Mars, it kinda ruins the rest of the song. If there's an acoustic demo version I'll stick to that.

eraser is growing on me now that ive heard it in good quality and with headphones and colors is nice
they're playing a free show here tomorrow night and doing a record release party down the road from where i work and i was gonna go but then my boss surprised my dad and i with nice as fuck tickets to the alcs game 1 it was a tough decision but go royals
