Agree with the fact that it might be a bit stale, but I found the album overall to be meaty and have plenty of riffs and tone to keep me interested.
Good review tho.

If you like progressive death metal then there will likely be something to enjoy here. I'm fairly critical of anything progressive but I do really enjoy this album.
The comparison to JFAC's Sun Eater isn't fair though because that album is ridiculously good haha.

Really grew on me after the Akrøásis tour, same with all the other bands honestly.

Last 3 tracks are explosive and magnificent. All the tracks before that are good and full of meary riffs and admirable musicianship but aren't quite as jaq-dropping as the last few tracks.

Surprisingly awesome album, haven't heard it in a while though

They're starting a short tour across some eastern US states. OH, PA, TN and wherever else.

it's pretty cool but didn't do that much for me. The sax was a cool touch, especially in the last part
|

Damn that sax came as a surprise. Nice proggy dm overall. Looks like they're on the right track. I can imagine this will be one of the more enjoyable dm albums this year that I can think of.
