I disagree completely with this review. Certainly SitS is not an instant classic album like Shogun was but I think Heafy's vox are the best they've ever been here (though I definitely lament the total loss of screams) and the songs are loaded with catchy hooks and interesting under-vox riffing. As was stated earlier, the two bonus tracks on the special edition are the two best songs and should've replaced the two weakest on the regular edition. In fact Cease all your Fire is one of my all time favorite Trivium songs! I would love for these guys to make another Shogun like everyone else but SitS is certainly still a good listen.

Matt Heafy is the oldest sitting at 30, though I don't know how old the drummer is so I could be wrong

God, I still remember when Trivium first got big and people used to make such a big deal that he was so young. I'm so oldddddddd.

Sonny Moore started out in From First To Last at 14

I like the new track, but yeah not as good as the first one. Their guitar work is still enjoyable as hell though.

Betrayer was pretty cool

This is pretty much the definition of average. Nothing particularly wrong with this album, but nothing is particularly good either. It's just a bit boring tbh.
Seems Trivium really lost their way after Shogun. Shame, they had a lot of potential and could have really gone places following that album.
New tracks sound much more promising, though, particularly Sin and Betrayer. Few more days and we'll see.
