Album Rating: 3.5 | Sound Off
I originally new this band solely for their the song, "The Reason", and upon discovering the album in goodwill, I purchased it. To my surprise, their self-titled album was also in the case, tucked behind the first disc. I of course gave it a listen, and I came away surprised, as it was much better than I thought it would be. That was 3 years ago, and it doesn't quite have the same luster it used to, but my goodness, do I still find myself jamming out to Crawling in the Dark, Remember Me, Running Away, Pieces (Especially), Let You Know, Ready for You, and Up and Gone, and even Better and Too Little Too Late on occasion. That being said, I would still only give the album a 3.5, but thats just me personally. I'm not gonna say they were one of the better alt-rock/alt-metal bands (at least this album has elements of these genres) of their time (I was 2 years old when this album came out), but they definitely brought a few decent tracks to the table.
