If this is a step down from Mind Control, I would realy love to hear it because I thought The Night Creeper is very good

Never really checked these guys out before. Melody Lane is excellent though. After binge listening this weekend I see the point in your review though, this album could have been songs from any of their other albums.
That being said, I dig this a lot.

Maybe there is repetition, but this is not ordinary repetition, it isn't motorhead, Iron maiden, or Judas Priest repetition, where every song every album is one long repetition, and gloriously so, but each song has a pretty different groove, with a pretty different sounding band altogether. Doom metal pop, with great story line lyrics, I think it is great

Melody Lane has been on repeat for a few days. Sounds like John Lennon meets Black Sabbath.

After further review, I like this better than the rest, this does not get monotonous, the others get long in repetition, for me this doesn't , plus has their 2 best songs, Downtown, and Night Creeper

It's a good record for slow, rainy days. Like a boring Sunday.

"It's a good record for slow, rainy days. Like a boring Sunday."
Yes. Slow Death was meant for Sunday afternoons. It's also good 'stroll in the woods' music as well.

I couldn't get into it without thinking the previous records were better. The only songs I occasionally listen to are Pusher Man and Melody Lane.
